Prostate

Prostate health is essential for sexual function. The prostate is a small walnut-sized gland that is essential for the production of semen. It is located just below the bladder and in front of the rectum. The prostate secretes a fluid that nourishes and transports sperm and It also helps to contract the muscles of the pelvic floor which are essential for ejaculation. Problems with the prostate can lead to sexual dysfunction. Prostate cancer for example is a leading cause of erectile dysfunction. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) or enlargement of the prostate is another common problem that can cause sexual problems. BPH can cause problems with urination which can lead to difficulties with achieving an erection. Treatment for prostate problems can often help to improve sexual function.

Prostate Health And Sex

Over the week, my husband forwarded me an article on how sex is a core important activity in maintaining a healthy prostate. As a generous wife, I was wondering why and the genuine intention of sending this article my way knowing how sweet-naughty he can be. We ended up having a mind-blowing discussion on Prostate health and of course, this discussion won’t end well without him emphasizing how the health of his prostate is in my hands.LOL But this topic got my mind on so many social and domestic issues like abstinence, long-distance relationships, extra-marital affairs, timetable sex, spousal denial of sex, etc. How could an able-bodied, full functioning abstain for whatever reason for a very long time? and I mean for both men and women, could this have a psychological and health effect, and is it indirectly encouraging masturbation? and Drs. have been advising folks to Stay away from MASTURBATION. Masturbation numbs your mentalism, Masturbation corrodes your spiritualism, Masturbation devours your sexualism, Masturbation is the enemy of man’s trinity of masculinity – Soul, Mind & Body.

And according to science and biology, it shows that one can not hold in for a long time without the urge to empty the prostate. It’s a natural phenomenon. I have also read about the health and psychological damages to women starved of sex too. No, I haven’t forgotten what they say about sex as a state of the mind. If you can control one drop, you can control the oceans and one advantage of semen retention they say , is power for knowledge.I am simply weighing in all the angles that tie to a healthy prostate. According to a new study, regular sex may help protect men against prostate cancer and also have positive effects on women’s health by reducing stress and improving sleep. They also noted that sex promotes bonding and intimacy which can have positive effects on mental and emotional health. Many health issues are associated with a lack of sex in women. The study which is the first of its kind found that men who had sex at least once a week was 33% less likely to develop prostate cancer than those who had sex less than once a week. Regular sex is good for the prostate and singles are more prone to prostate disease. While being single is a moral decision, it’s not a biological adaptation. your prostate is designed to empty its content regularly. Studies’ lead author Dr. Marie-Elise Parent said that the findings suggest that “sexual activity could have a protective effect against prostate cancer.” However, she cautioned that the study was only observational and did not prove cause and effect. Previous studies have suggested that sexual activity may help reduce the risk of other cancers such as breast cancer and ovarian cancer.

Prostate Disease

Prostate disease refers to any abnormal condition of the prostate. The most common prostate diseases are benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer. BPH is a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate that often occurs with age. Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men after skin cancer. Early detection and treatment of prostate cancer can improve survival rates. Sexual abstinence is the practice of voluntarily abstaining from sexual activity. The reasons for practicing sexual abstinence vary from person to person and can include religious or personal beliefs as well as the desire to avoid pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections (STIs). However, there are several biological adaptations that can result from sexual abstinence. For example, people who abstain from sex may have a lower risk of contracting STIs as they are not exposed to the bacteria or viruses that are transmitted through sexual contact. Additionally, people who abstain from sex may have a lower risk of developing certain types of cancer such as cervical cancer. Abstinence can also lead to a reduction in the number of unwanted pregnancies. Others may abstain from sex due to personal preferences or health concerns. Prostate health is important for all men as the prostate gland can become enlarged or cancerous. There are a number of things that men can do to keep their prostate healthy including:

-Eating a healthy diet
-Exercising regularly
-Maintaining a healthy weight
-Avoiding smoking
-Limiting alcohol intake
-Getting regular medical checkups

Although most men do not experience symptoms in their early years by age 60 more than half of all men will have an enlarged prostate. And by age 85 as many as 90% of men may have an enlarged prostate. There is no definitive answer to how often the prostate should be emptied as it depends on each individual’s prostate size activity level and other factors. However, it is generally recommended that men empty their prostate every 3-4 hours during waking hours to prevent the buildup of urine in the gland.
