Seed Cycling
An Alternative Medicine Practice
If you’ve been diagnosed with hormonal imbalance, PCOS, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, and cyst, or you struggle with irregular period, ceased period, or severe menstrual cramp, then this will help for you.
Seed Cycling is a natural approach that supports your body at various stages of life.
Emotional, physical, or mental stress, chemical or environmental toxins leading to excess cortisol release, poor eating habits, high caffeine or alcohol consumption can all contribute to an imbalance of one’s hormone or the other.
Seed Cycling helps to balance the female hormone that is out of whack. It helps to regulate your period.
Seed Cycling also helps to minimize the symptoms of uterine fibroids, cysts, and endometriosis.
There are two phases or stages of Seed Cycling you need to follow.
Follicular Phase
From Day 1 to Day 14 of your menstrual cycle, you need more estrogen in order to build up your endometrium (uterus lining). This is called the follicular phase. FLAX SEEDS and PUMPKIN SEEDS will help to naturally increase your good estrogen level. Flax has omega 3 while pumpkin has a high content of zinc. Consume 1tablespoon of each seed daily.
Luteal Phase
Day 15 to Day 28 of the menstrual cycle is called the luteal phase. This is when the corpus luteum begins to increase progesterone, which helps to thicken the uterus lining and prepare it for implantation. SESAME has a high content of zinc and omega 6 while SUNFLOWER has a high content of vitamin E and omega 6. Consume 1 tablespoon of each seed daily.
Usage Of The Seeds
You can add the seeds to your smoothie, pudding, salad, or simply snack on them.
It’s advisable to grind these seeds separately and use them accordingly. Grinding it before use makes it easily absorbed into the bloodstream.
Put in mind that in order to maximize the benefits of this Seed Cycling, you need to eliminate sugar, eat as healthy as possible, detox your body system daily, do moderate exercise even if it’s 30 minutes daily walk, always drink enough water daily and make sure you’re getting enough rest. Do this consistently for 3 to 5 months for a great improvement.
